An authentic taste experience from Salumificio Artigianale Pavullese, located in the heart of the Appennino Modenese mountains.
Please note: the picture shows a full salami but the product sold is ca. 1/2 salami, vacuum packed.
Salame Stagionato Riserva (meaning Aged Salami Reserve ) made from minced shoulder and pancetta meat, seasoned with salt, pepper, a touch of garlic, natural aromas and spices. Packed in natural casing and hand tied, aged for at least 60 days.
For four generations, Salumificio Artigianale Pavullese has been delivering handmade products to the table, made according to old traditional recipes with a touch of innovation. Their products are made in the shadow of the Montecuccoli castle, in the Frignano area of the Emilian Apennines. They are handmade, exactly as tradition wants. Each product has a completely unique taste, thanks to the use of natural spices. The weight is about 470 grams per half salami.
Origin:
The Salame Stagionato Riserva is an authentic delicacy, handcrafted in the picturesque hills of the Apennines in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Made with care and traditional methods, this salami brings the true taste of the Italian mountains straight to your table. It is lactose and gluten free.
Tasting notes:
Aroma: This salami has a rich and distinctive aroma that brings to mind the forested mountains where it is produced.
Taste: Salame Stagionato Riserva has an intense and balanced taste, with hints of spices and a slight smoky undertone that gives it a unique and irresistible bite.
Perfect combinations:
Wine: This salami pairs perfectly with a full-bodied red wine such as an Amarone della Valpolicella or a Primitivo di Manduria. These wines highlight the salami's rich flavor and add an extra dimension to the taste experience.
Food: These salami are perfect as part of a charcuterie plate, accompanied by various cheeses (I recommend the one with an intense Parmigiano Reggiano matured for 36 months), as well as olives. It is also a delicious addition to a sandwich with fresh baguette (try it with focaccia!) and slices of tomato and arugula.
Experience:
Enjoy this authentic Italian delicacy in good company with friends and family, either as part of a cozy gathering or as part of a relaxed picnic in nature.
Note: The pieces are unique due to both the craftsmanship and the cutting operation, making it impossible to ensure a consistent weight. For this reason, a weight tolerance of +/- 30 grams is to be expected.
Buon appetito!
